Gamila Abdalla

I am a part time student advisor At the Ban Righ Centre and I have tremendously enjoyed my role as a Student Advisor for the past 15 years. I have a degree in Economics and Social studies and a post graduate degree in Planning and Development Studies. I have obtained my third degree as a mature student in Gender Studies at Queen’s University. I am originally from Sudan/Africa. I immigrated to Canada 26 years ago. I have travelled and visited many other countries, which helped me gain a solid perspective in cross-cultural students advising and support. I would love to meet with you and provide support. You are welcome to drop in at the Centre any time between 9 :00 am and 4:00 pm . I work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I will be happy to chant with you in my office or outside the Centre (going for walks while chatting can be a fun)

Lisa Webb

I have lived in many cities and towns in Ontario but found my real home on Wolfe Island with my partner Mikaela and our dogs, cats, sheep and chickens.  I have degrees in psychology, social work and policy studies, having returned to school as a mature student for the latter two degrees.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a student advisor with the Ban Righ Centre for over 16 years and am grateful for the meaningful and inspiring interactions that take place here. I hope you’ll feel free to come by for a chat any time…I am here Monday to Friday 9-4 to provide support in whatever way I can. Please note that I am equally happy to have a chat here in my office or outside while walking. Let me know your preference.
