Online and Distance Student Resources

Welcome

The Ban Righ Centre community understands that for many mature women students taking courses online is a way to help fit academic work in among other responsibilities. Below are some resources that we believe might be helpful.

Student Academic Success Services (SASS) offers telephone appointments to distance students. SASS helps students at all levels of academic success improve their writing and academic skills and confidence. Students can get help with a range of topics, such as managing time, handling multiple academic demands, reading efficiently, writing clearly and concisely, developing strong arguments in writing assignments, increasing motivation, studying for exams, and practicing English as an Additional Language. To book a learning or writing appointment, please visit sass.queensu.ca

If you’re a distance student, we recommend that you take a look at some of our online learning and writing resources. including our tips for online courses.
